Friday Links-March 29th
Here are some of the resources, posts and articles that caught my eye this week. I hope you find them useful.
This week I am starting with the Tweets that caught my attention or inspired me to grow. The first is a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson shared by @Wes_Kieschnick. Wes is the author of Bold School and I recently started following him after picking up his book.
Next is a tweet from George Couros (@gcouros) that he gleaned from @katiemartinedu. If you don't follow either of these individuals, you might want to.
The last one is from Kasey Bell (@ShakeUpLearning) and is probably my favorite of the week.
I try to listen to several different podcasts, many from the #podcastedu and the Educators Podcast Network. There are many great ideas being shared across that platform. This week I caught an episode of Cult of Pedagogy called Five Ways to Improve Your Rubrics. I listened to it while driving and thought it was worth sharing. It made me think about how I have handled rubrics and what I can do to improve them in the future. I hope it is beneficial to you as well.
There were others that caught my attention, but these were the biggest standouts. Hope you have had a great week. Feel free to share and comment.
Thank you for reading The Cluttered Desk. You can find me on Twitter @jasonbengs. Please feel free to comment on the post and share your ideas with me. If you found any value in this post, please share it with others.

Instead of telling students to turn work in, we should be telling them to publish it!https://t.co/xJLRruLmjX#shakeuplearning #edtech pic.twitter.com/H1PBghksch— Kasey Bell (@ShakeUpLearning) March 17, 2019
